In an effort to better serve you, HDI has integrated its authentication systems with our parent company, UBM Tech, giving you the ability to use one set of credentials across a number of websites. This Single Sign On (SSO) feature allows more convenient access and more secure credential management on our websites. If you log into an HDI website such as ThinkHDI.com or HDIConnect, you will be automatically logged into other HDI sites. Our event websites are excluded from this due to their practice of asking people to log in only when they register for the event.
You can use your credentials to log into other UBM Tech sites where SSO is enabled, such as Information Week, Dr. Dobbs, and Dark Reading.
If you already had an account with one of the aforementioned UBM Tech sites and it uses the same email address as your HDI account then your accounts have been merged. Your effective password is now the one that you had created through one of the aforementioned sites. For example, if you had created an account on Information Week then you must now log into HDI websites using your Information Week password.
